'24 to start filming next year'

24 fans will be pleased to hear that production hasn’t completely halted for the 24 movie. Director Brian Grazer has said that production is still penned in for 2012. Which goes against rumours which suggest the 24 is in the myth categories of movies that were once to be.

His exact tweet to a 24 film conversion fan was:

Got off the phone Keifer yesterday and we are very excited about producing the ‘24' movie for next year.

There have been major script issues which has put this movie on the back burner. But for now at least we can still expect Keither Sufferland as Jack Bauer, racing against time and terrorising terrorists.

Only problem now is how do you make a 24 real time movie in a film span of 2 hours?

Personally I’d love to see the 24 movie. Redemption worked well. But if there is anything to be learnt from the ghost of movie past it’s that script issues usually lead to a bad film.

Let’s hope they pull this one off, hey?

  1. They should make the movie 24 hours long... I'd (maybe) sit through that!
